About

Brad6 269x300 About Hi, my name is Brad Gillies and it’s my pleasure to welcome you to my website.

If you will humor me, I would like to first briefly introduce myself. By the time I’m done, I’m sure you’ll agree that I’m probably one of the most blessed people you will ever meet!

I had the great fortune of being raised in a home filled with as much love as any child could ever hope for. I’m absolutely positive that no one has ever had greater parents than mine! They raised seven children, of which I’m number five. They taught each of us to love God with all of our heart, might, mind and strength and also to love our neighbor as ourselves.  I’ve never known any two people who have worked harder,  served more, or given as much as my parents.

I have four awesome brothers and two beautiful sisters. Like all siblings, we’ve had our share of quarrels and disagreements, but we’ve also shared countless happy experiences as well. My brothers and sisters  have proven to be an incredible source of strength, support and love. Each has also provided invaluable examples for my life. We are all very close and make it a priority to get together as often as possible.

My father worked in retail throughout my childhood and from time to time was transferred to manage a new store.  As a result our family was required to move several times. Consequently, I grew up in several locations of the U.S. including parts of California, South Dakota and Utah. I was fortunate to have good friends in each location.  My friends and I enjoyed spending most of our time swimming, riding bikes, skateboarding, and playing football, baseball and basketball together. I also enjoyed family vacations, snow skiing and participating in scouting as a boy.

When I was 11 yrs. old my Dad purchased a retail store which he ran as a family business. I was allowed to work as the store custodian. I would clean the store each day after school and several hours on Saturday. This not only taught me how to work, but also allowed me to learn the value of money at a very young age.

Shortly after graduating High School, I met the most beautiful woman in the world! She’s been the love of my life ever since!  We each served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  This was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Shortly after I returned home from serving my mission, Michelle Munyan and I were married for all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, on February 18, 1987.  Together we have been blessed with 5 incredible children (3 boys and 2 girls) who we are extremely proud of and absolutely love spending time with!

Having received so many of life’s greatest blessings, we’ve also experienced many of life’s trials. We know from first-hand experience just how difficult it can be to raise a family, juggle a crazy schedule and try to make ends meet, let alone… get ahead.

In my profession, I have the great privilege of working as a personal success coach.  Since 1992, I have been fortunate to represent many of the world’s top entrepreneurs, authors, trainers and speakers including: Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, Denis WaitleyTom Hopkins, Robert Allen, Jay Abraham, Sandy Botkin, John Cummuta and others. Not only has this proven to be a profitable and fulfilling career, but these opportunities have also allowed me to receive an invaluable education.

Throughout my life, I have constantly been surrounded by many great examples, mentors and leaders. Beyond the examples of my family – my scout leaders, athletic coaches, church and mission leaders, as well as those I have been privileged to represent as a personal success coach – have all been very positive influences in my life. These individuals have helped me learn the principles of true wealth and happiness!

My goal through this blog is; to pass along many of the lessons I have been fortunate to learn throughout my life. I hope that in doing so, my life will have a positive impact on your life.

I hope you find each blog post to be insightful, inspiring and empowering!

Sincerely,

Brad Gillies
